    I’ve saved a slide-in and an embed to collect emails to the local list. I want ONLY the email address to be required. That seems to work on preview. But after saving, it reverts to showing the boxes for First Name and Last Name as well as the email field. Help!

    I have tested this on my end and had no issues with removing the Name fields, this is how it looks on my end:

    Can you tell me if you see the changes being “Saved” when you publish or update your Slide-in/Embed, like this:

    It’s possible that there is some conflict in the backend that is preventing the plugin to save the changes.
    Can you please perform a conflict test by disabling your other plugins and switching to default WP theme to see if it’s saving properly after that?
    If it does, activate them back one by one until the issue is back and that should tell us where the issue is coming from so we can debug it further.

    I suggest doing this test on a staging site or if you don’t have one make sure to have a backup of your site before doing the test on live installation.

    Thanks for the response, but you released an update only yesterday, which explicitly said it was solving this issue. A bit surprised you didn’t know about that.

    There are slight differences in release times between our plugins in pro and free versions and also while we, as a company/team, are working 24/7, we are spread across teh globe working in a various time-zones. I believe that’s why my colleague unintentionally missed the information. I’m afraid we’re still only humans… 😉
