Like usual, there are millions of them out there and I can’t figure out which one to go with.
Where are these “millions” of plugins that will convert a Figma design to a WordPress theme?
I know the “millions” is likely hyperbole, but I didn’t find a single such plugin in the official WordPress plugins directory. I found a couple of plugins that will convert Figma designs to WordPress blocks and pages, but none that will create a complete theme.
@gappiah Just want to see if anyone have experience doing it. Because most of the plugins don’t have tutorials. I need to strike a balance between ease of use and features.
My point was: it’s not like there are a whole lot of options as your original post seemed to suggest.
In fact, the ONLY Figma to WordPress theme converter I know of (but never used as I don’t use Figma) is the Yotako Figma plugin: https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1195068675739761335/figma-to-wordpress
Note that this is a Figma plugin, and not WordPress plugin: so you install it at Figma, and use it to generate the WordPress theme.

ONLY Yotako does what you’re looking for.
None of the others create a WordPress theme.
My plugin here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/advanced-animation/, can import Figma design into Gutenberg block. But I will recommend it’s Figma plugin companion because the result is better and I will update it regularly (You still need to install the WordPress plugin to automatically upload the image).
