File 404 Not Found error after setup
-
I’d say the topic title explains this post pretty well.
You can view my blog here:
http://danmassicottespositiveliving.com/blog/I only had time enough to add one post, because the next day I clicked the link to the login screen that WordPress sent me and I got the following error that reads:
——————————
Not FoundThe requested URL /blog/wp-login.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/2.2.9 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.9 OpenSSL/0.9.8i DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at danmassicottespositiveliving.com Port 80
——————————–The only change I did was I saw that my original folder titled “wp” to “blog” because I realized after making the initial transfer that the folder name was going to appear in my web address. Since blog is much easier to remember than ‘wp’, the change was necessary. However even now when I switch it back to ‘wp’, I still can’t log in.
Any thoughts?
