    Recent scan shows over 100,000 unknown files, but when I try to view any one of them, they do not exist.

    Hello.

    Please, deactivate the plugin with the “Complete deactivation” option enabled and then activate it again.

    1. Enter the Security by Cleantalk plugin settings. (WordPress Dashboard -> Settings -> Security by Cleantalk -> General settings)
    2. Check the last settings “Complete deactivation” and save changes.
    3. Deactivate the plugin on the “Plugins” page in WordPress Dashboard.
    4. Then activate it.
    5. Enter your access key in the plugin’s settings.
    6. Relaunch scanning.

    You can also disable showing unknown files in the plugin settings: uncheck ‘List unknown files’ option.
