File Doesn't Exist Error

    I had a slider working, then I deleted a picture from the media library that was in the slider without deleting it first from the slider, I went to add the new photo into slider, and this is the error I now get when trying to add any new image. I’ve deleted the plugin and reinstalled to no effect.

    Any idea what’s wrong?

    Hi midian42,

    You should see a ‘blank’ slide where the deleted slide once was – can you delete that one from your slideshow?

    I had deleted the whole slide, then deleted the whole plugin, and it still didn’t work. BUT I also figured out the problem. It was my browser. Emptied Cache, worked fine. 😉

    Hi

    I also face the problem “File Doesn’t Exist Error “
    My scenario is ; I try to create a brand new slide show for the very first time, but when I select an image I face the no such fie error, the image is present in the WordPress library.
    Hope you can give me a hint to solve this.

    Hi Nanna,

    I’m not too sure.. have you checked that the full size, original image exist on your server? (not just the resized versions that WordPress creates)

    Have you moved or deleted any files, or are you using any plugins that adds media files from different directories, or loads them from a CDN or anything like that?

    If that doesn’t shed any light on the issue, please set up a temporary admin login for me and send the details through http://www.metaslider.com/support and I’ll take a look.

    There was another plug there was using the library, after I removed the plugin(it was inactive) Meta slider works!

    Hi, I am in the process of converting a site to WordPress for a client. I need to be able to replicate the logo animation that is in use on the home page of http://www.dmklawgroup.com. I have been searching through plugins all day and can’t seem to get one that works. Does anyone have any suggestions?
