Hi @writeforusolivia
Hope you are doing well today.
I ran some tests in my lab site, but it was working fine. I can see the .odt is available in your form, which could be due to a plugin/theme conflict, my suggestion is first running a conflict test by disabling other plugins and switching to a default theme, you may test that on a staging environment and if that wasn’t helpful please export your form and share it here using a third-party free storage like google drive and dropbox so we can investigate further.

Thank you Amin! I must clarify that when I wrote: ‘I cannot see the ODT option’ – I was getting ahead of myself and simply typing into Google “can Forminator accept ODT files?” The Google answer led me to believe that Forminator does not have this option.
I have now gone into the settings and can indeed see the .odt option. I have ticked it and updated it.
Thank you for clarifying this option and apologies for not being clear.
Hi @writeforusolivia
I’m glad this issue is resolved. If you have a moment, I would greatly appreciate it if you could quickly rate our plugin. This will help us keep the plugin available for free.

Oh!! I do have one more question!! If I receive files as .odt can I open them up in MS Word or do I need the same program?
Thank you!
Hi @writeforusolivia
Yes, you can open OpenDocument (.odt) format using MS Word; however, it has some compatibility issues, and not all Word features can be saved using that format.
