File ID

    Hi, this is a dummy question.
    Trying to understand Download Manager plugin.
    What is the purpose of a package attached file ID?
    It is a number, for example: 1540295914388
    ?wpdmdl=2457&ind=1540295914388

    The question has born while bulk importing a set of files with only 3 csv headers:
    Title, category and file.
    All IDs was set to zero, while adding files separately manualy with “wp-admin, add new doc” seems to add a new non null ID number to every attach.

    An ID set to 0 is some inconvenience?
