File Names with Brackets

    I’ve been looking for a way to display filenames as they are on the file system without any modification. I found the prettify option and I have turned that off for all my File Away directories. This change did help me to a point. After this, I was able to use dashes and parenthesis but I’m still unable to use brackets “[testing]”. When renaming a file from File Away, it will allow brackets but a refresh strips them away. Is there any way to make brackets show in File Away?

    No. Brackets are used by file away to display custom data in a custom data column.

    Thank you for replying so quickly! Is there any documentation on the custom data columns? That feature sounds pretty nice.

    Yeah, there’s documentation on everything in the tutorials tab of the settings page, or by clicking on each field’s info icon in the shortcode generator.
