make sure the the uploads/mdocs folder has the right permissions set.

Sometime after a system update these permission can change.

Yeah, thanks – I haven’t really rolled out the site yet. On the list to update that

Still having issues – do you mean go to settings> roles and capabilites or someplace else, like cPanel? I’m not a developer, just a fuddler – if I’m pointed in the right direction Im usually pretty good to go. Any other advise?

Im not formula with cPanel. You need to look at the folders permissions. Using linux you would just cd to the folder and view what the permissions are.

You will have to figure that one out for yourself with cPanel.

Here is what I see: (also Im hosting with bluehost – I dont have access to much, so this might be a really crappy problem to have i.e find something else 🙁

Here are the directory permissions for the mdocs folder:
all ‘users’ have read write and execute checked off. Group and world have read and execute. Sooo that’s likely not our issue…

hmm.. yeah server issue are very hard to debug. Can you do a simple test change the folder setting to 777 then test. once tested return your settings.
