• Hi,

First of all, I’d like to say I love the work you’ve done on this plugin.
It saves me a lot of time on a daily basis.

My problem comes from the permissions of the files extracted by the plugin.
Those files have www-data as owner and group, and the permissions are set to 644.
In my case it means that I, with my own FTP accesses, cannot update or even delete them.

I’ve encoutered this problem on two differents webservers (and have never had any problem with my regular web host) and I can’t say if those servers are misconfigured or if it’s the plugin who should set the permissions to 755 instead of 644.

For those two servers, I have to upload everything “manually” by FTP to prevent the creation of files I can’t update/delete.

    Can you help me ?
If the servers or my access are misconfigured, do you have any solution on how they should be ?

    Thank you very much,
    Stanley

    Hi Stanley,

I am sorry for the inconvenience.
Would you mind opening a support ticket to support at servmask.com, so I can have one engineer look into the issue closely?
