    copy(wp-content/plugins/ewww-image-optimizer/binaries/optipng-linux): failed to open stream: No such file or directory

    I am getting teh above errors in my ;pg also there is a red error on my plugins dashboard saying :
    EWWW Image Optimizer uses jpegtran, optipng, pngout, pngquant, gifsicle, and cwebp. You are missing: jpegtran, optipng, gifsicle. Please install via the Settings Page or the Installation Instructions.

    and

    EWWW Image Optimizer could not install tools in //public_html//wp-content/ewww/. Please adjust permissions or create the folder. If you have installed the tools elsewhere on your system, check the option to Use System Paths. For more details, visit the Settings Page or the Installation Instructions.

    I have tried changing permissions to 755 but that didnt work

    FYI, if something higher than 755 works, like 775 or 777, then the ownership on your web directory needs some attention.
    When you turn on EWWW’s debug setting, you will see version information on the settings page at the very bottom of the debug information. Right above the EWWW IO version, it will list the username of the user that is running the php/web process. THAT is the user that should own all the files in your WordPress install.
