Can’t Upload PDFs :(

    Hi there,

    For some reason, I can’t add PDFs or any other type of files except images… I’m using this for a course and need the ability to upload PDFs. Can you please help?

    Hello!
    Can you please make sure that you have checked the boxes for all types of files that you wish to upload? Secondly, please make sure that the buddydrive uploads folder has the correct permissions to upload files to it. Third, please identify what type of hosting you have and with what company. Thanks!

    I figured it out… I also had BuddyBoss’ Portfolio plugin which was limiting the types of files I could upload. They gave me code to remove the filter.

    Different note…

    1. Is there a way to move documents into a different folder?

    2. Instead of having just the little gray PDF thumbnail, is there a way that we can use the actual doc as a thumbnail instead?

    1) Unfortunately not at this time.

    2) File previews is something we are considering for a future version.
