File upload from plugin admin page

Hi there

I haev put toegther a simple plugin that simply collects through admin a clients details and writes them to a db table.

Everything works fine however i have decided that i want to enable the user to select a image from the media lib and together with the other information write the url of that image to the DB.

My question is how do i use the media lib to select a image and extract the url of that image for writing to the DB.

I should point out that my plugin is not using posts… it’s a bespoke page that simply collects the info from the user.

Any help would really be appreciated. I thought i would need to use meta fields but it seems this is only used for extending posts.
