I’ve been using an old version of the plugin, v4.5, which stores all of the uploaded files directly within the standard wp-media library /uploads/{year}/{month} directories. I’m wondering if new versions of the plugin allow for files to be stored in a unique, isolated location? Having uploads stored directly within the media library folders is causing issue, making it difficult to clear old uploads manually as they’re all mixed in with site media. If new versions allow a change to storage destination I would purchase an update license.

    Hi @kianjb,

Thank you for reaching out and for your continued use of RegistrationMagic.

Currently, RegistrationMagic stores all uploaded files via forms in the default WordPress Media Library directory (i.e., /wp-content/uploads/{year}/{month}), and this behavior remains consistent in the latest versions as well. This approach ensures that uploaded files are easily accessible and manageable through the WordPress Media Library interface.

We understand that in some cases, especially when handling a high volume of uploads, this can create challenges in separating form submissions from regular site media. At this time, the plugin does not support storing uploads in a separate, isolated directory outside the Media Library. Doing so would also prevent those files from appearing within the standard Media Library, which may reduce convenience for some site administrators.

That said, we do appreciate your feedback, and we’re always exploring ways to improve flexibility in file handling. We’ll be sure to pass this suggestion along to our development team for future consideration.
