File Uploads to Incorrect Ppath

    Hi,

    I am using the File Away plugin on a local computer using wamp.

    Recently, I’ve got a problem with the File Uploads feature, the problem is that the files are uploaded to the wrong file path, for example if I specify D:\Wamp\www\sitefiles\abc in the file uploads shortcode, it will upload it to new folder D:\Wampwww\sitefiles\abc (without the directory separator) and it creates the new folder regardless of the Create Directory option.

    The base directory in the File Away settings is specified as D:\wamp\www/sitefiles and the root directory is set to WP Install Directory.

    The Directory Files feature pointing to the same path works perfectly.

    I have recently updated WordPress to the latest version 4.3.1 and the FileAway plugin to 3.9.6.1. I am not sure whether this is the cause of the problem or not, but it was working perfectly before that.

    [UPDATE]: I installed an older version of the plugin 3.9.1 and it worked OK.

    Could I get a copy of your version 3.9.1 or point me to a site with that back version? I am having problems with the correct upload path as well – exactly as you stated (see my post). I am not sure how long this will take to get addressed. Thanks.

    UPDATE: Never mind, found it under support. Installed, tested and it now works as advertised. I am going to download the newer version and debug it in PHPED once I get it working under XAMPP.

    As advertised, File Up is not currently compatible with Windows servers. See plugin requirements and FAQ, and numerous support requests.

    Thank you. I can’t believe I didn’t see that in FAQ. Thank you again for the beautiful plugin, it’s been doing amazing work for us.
