Filebird not opening wordpress.com

I’m using filebird on wordpress.com hosting and FileBird sometimes doesn’t open. If I do a regular image block on a post, it open’s wordpress.com’s media instead of filebird. Is there some way for filebird to override wordpress.com’s hosted media manager?

That worked for the media library on the admin sidebar but wordpress.com still insists on opening their media library instead of filebird whenever I add an image or anything else like setting the featured image.
