Files as attachement

Not sure what happened or changed
I used to receive uploaded files (.pdf and images) as attachements in the email but now they do not come as attachments anymore As far as I know nothing changed on the site apart from 2 things
Had to downgrade cf7 to v 5.8.5 because of the issue with the Dropdown and Checkboxes (Undefined value was submitted through this field) working now with older CF7 Version AND cache enabled
Would that make a difference?
