Hi,
I do not have similar reports. Can you give some details like:
1. the shortcode you are using
2. the files that fail
3. any error messages
4. your php version
Nickolas
Hi,
Here’s the info you requested.
1) [wordpress_file_upload uploadpath=”resume” uploadpatterns=”*.pdf, *.doc, *.docx, *.jpg, *.bmp, *.zip” dublicatespolicy=”maintain both” placements=”title/userdata/filename+selectbutton/uploadbutton/progressbar/message” notify=”true” notifyrecipients=”[email protected]” notifyheaders=”You have a new document upload” notifymessage=”Dear Employment Dynamics,%n%%n% A new file has been uploaded from the Job Seeker page.%n%%n%Best Regards” attachfile=”true” successmessagecolor=”#1e73be” widths=”userdata_label:200px” heights=”userdata_label:25 px” userdata=”true” userdatalabel=”*First Name/Additional Notes”]
2) All file types – .jpg, .pdf, .doc, .docx, etc
3) The error message says “Upload Failed! The Duration of the upload exceeded the time limit of the server.
This is only happening on Windows version of Chrome and Edge, and Safari on Mac.
4) PHP Version 5.4.45
Thanks!
Sorry, I just noticed that if I log out of my dashboard, then none of the browsers let me upload at all.
what is the size of the files you are trying to upload?
can you give me the URL of the page to try to upload myself for troubleshooting?
I was only trying to upload small files, most of them weren’t even 1mb

I tried to upload a file and failed. The internal error shown is “Session failed”. I have seen similar problems in the past. The plugin is using session variables to store safely some necessary keys for security. If session variables are erased for some reason or do not exist, then the plugin cannot verify the uploader and it will reject the upload.
There is probably another plugin or some other problem that forces the session variables to be erased, which is not normal behaviour.
I would suggest as a first step to deactivate all other plugins you may have and leave only the upload plugin and try to do an upload. If it succeeds, then you need to find the plugin that is causing the problem and tell it to me. If it still fails to do the upload, then we need to dig deeper.

Ok, I went through and deactivated every plugin except for the Uploader, and it still didn’t let me upload any files. I’m stumped.
Dear jrogers.si did you find solution to the problem? Sorry for the late answer.
Which theme do you have and what WordPress version?
Nickolas
Hi Nick,
We have had no luck with our uploading problem. We are using the Jobify theme by Astoundify and we are using WordPress Version 4.3.1.
Thanks!
James
Do you have any caching plugin installed, like W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache?
We do have WP Super Cache installed, but not active.
Do you know recommend removing the super cache plugin to make the upload work again? Any input?
Can you give me admin access to troubleshoot? Please send an email to info at iptanus.com

Hi,
Were you able to solve this issue? I am facing the same problem. Same error. None of the files get uploaded. Version 4.3.1 wordpress. Latest build of the plugin.
Thanks.
