Filescanner filter needs wildcards

Hi, can you add wildcard support to the file scanner filters?

There’s this hosting app called ‘installatron’ which provides one-click installs. For some reason it places a file named “deleteme.??????.php” in the root web folder, then deletes it. this happens every day, and is normal behavior (if a bit idiotic). The file scanner cannot be told to ignore “deleteme.*.php” because it does not appear to support wildcards in that manner.

Could this functionality be added? Thanks!
