    Is product filtering by attribute in the url possible on pages that have product blocks?

    For example, in my url I can add ?filter_h-distance-rating=high to my regular products page and it will only show me items that have the attribute “h-distance-rating” where it is equal to “high”. But, when I add a product block to a non-products page…Say I add the “Products by category” block and I try to apply that same parameter in the url, it does nothing. Same with the all products block.

    Is there a way to filter by url in those blocks? Thanks.

    Hello @tylerjl44 ,

    If I understand correctly, you want to filter products by attribute while using “Products by category” block & use the direct URL to enable the attribute filter, right?

    I’ve tested & confirmed that the Filter Products by Attribute only works with the “All Products” block but this doesn’t work well with direct URL. When product blocks are used, the products are filtered without refresh so a URL change isn’t required.

    One alternative would be using product shortcodes to create a separate page for specific attributes & change the permalink of the page to what you need.

    I’ve also asked our developers to know if there are other workaround or plans to make the filter with direct URL possible with the blocks. I will get back to you when I get a response from them.
