    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    That’s strange. The Extension should actually always show the table head row, regardless of whether it contains the filter term or not… Is the table head row checkbox checked on the table’s “Edit” screen?

    Your question helped! The box was checked, but I was ‘hiding’ the first row in that table. Once I went in and just deleted that hidden row, it works.

    I can’t speak highly enough about TablePress. It is, by far, the best plugin I use. I’ll be donating to the cause again today!

    Hi,

    ah, yes, that explains it 🙂 The Filtering Extension can only keep the first row as the header (regardless of its visibility). When it’s marked as hidden, the render logic will then however make the actual first row in the shown table the header.
