    Hi,

I recently updated all plugins and Astra theme and noticed that the filter is now displaying incorrectly.

I deactivated all plugins apart from Woo, Elementor Pro and Filter Everything Pro, but the issue remained.

I then viewed the website using the storefront theme, and the filter displayed correctly once again.

What is the best course of action to fix this?

Below is how the filter now looks, with the dropdown arrows and now raised.

    Hi @stefanwharfedalepro

The best option is to use browser development tools to inspect the dropdown and identify where the extra arrows are coming from. Once you find those styles, you can remove them using custom CSS. Most likely, they are being added by the theme or any other plugin.

    Thank you Victor.

After inspecting the element, it looks like this is a “Select2” element.

I added CSS to hide the extra arrow, but upon reload of the page, the filter behaves normally, before shortly after (maybe half a second) reverting back to showing the extra arrow.

It looks like the Astra theme is overriding this, so I’m a little stuck, as I can’t seem to force hide the dropdown arrow.

Is this an issue for Astra support?

    Many thanks for your help,

    Stefan

    Hi @stefanwharfedalepro

Yes, you can ask them how to remove that. After all, they created it, so they’ll be able to assist you much better with their own styles and how the extra arrows are being applied on top of the Select2. There may also be some JavaScript code responsible for applying it.

    Best Regards,
    Victor
