filter issue

I’ve configured filters with multiple taxonomies using checkboxes through filter extension. When one checkbox is selected, I want all other checkboxes, even from different taxonomies, to be unchecked and display the results accordingly. Is it possible to allow only one checkbox to be selected at a time?
