Filter jobs by user with shortcode

I would like to be able to filter jobs by user id with the jobs shortcode. However it doesn’t appear that the jobs shortcode has a user_id argument and cannot filter by users. Ideally, I would like to do something like this [jobs user_id=”123″ show_filters=”false” show_categories=”false”] and only have the jobs that are relevant to that user id listed. Is there an easy way for me to add that argument to the shortcode or can that be added in a future update?

Thanks for reaching out to WP Job Manager support.

Currently, WP Job Manager doesn’t have the option to filter jobs by user ID. There is a public GitHub feature request open and our development team is aware of it:

However, we don’t have an estimated time for this enhancement to be released on future WP Job Manager updates. I recommend adding your request on the GitHub issue, so our development team is aware of the amount of customers that are looking forward to this request.

I see that you opened a new forum thread asking the same question. For visibillity, I will answer in this thread as well.

By default, WP Job Manager can’t filter jobs by companies. You can work around this by using categories or tags.

You could create multiple pages for different companies. Then use different shortcode with filter parameters to display different categories or use job tags:

Another workaround is to look into one of these plugins to integrate companies into WP Job Manager:
