Yes, I’m sorry, but only the Pro version has an option for this. In there you can create a Custom Posts generator:

where regular WordPress Posts could be selected too. It has more options, like the Meta data based filtering:

(ACF stores datas as meta datas.)
You can also use date based keywords:

to compare with them. For example only show posts, where “meta_start_date” is smaller, than “current_date”, also “meta_end_date” is bigger than “current_date”.

There are 3 things I would like to tell about this:
1. Meta datas are quite a complex matter, and I cannot say for a 100% certainty, that this will work out. For example if the meta data is stored differently, like its not the date, but some other value is stored that should be processed to get the date, that couldn’t work out. We have a 2 week refund policy, so in this case you could ask for your money back.
2. If it won’t work out, but you really want to make it work anyway, you can create your own generator:
