Filter resets itself

What can I do to block the filters while the products are not loaded?
The problem is if I select a filter and immediately after a new filter, the products from previous filtering were not loaded by that time, so the filter resets iself.
It would be ideal if I can put a loading icon on the filters as well, like on the product list
