Hello,

Is it possible to add buttons on top of TablePress with the function of filtering the table according to their strings?

I am adding an example. The below table has the usual search/sort/filter by search or dropdown capability, and on top also has the option to do something similar with buttons:

I looked over the forum and into the colvis functionality, but was incapable of finding something similar.

For this, you could take a look at the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-button-filter/

While I am happy with the solution provided above, I was curious to see if you have any idea if the grouping capability of datatables can be replicated in TablePress?

Hi,

what do you mean with “grouping” capability? The showing of that header above the search results? This is done by the DataTables add-on from https://datatables.net/extensions/rowgroup/ but there’s currently no TablePress Extension for this. This should however be possible, by e.g. using one of the other existing TablePress Extension as a foundation and then extend/modify the code.
