Filtering custom content box using a button

    Hello guys, im new in wordpress.
    Im using pixfort theme as a main source.
    Previous developer created a custom caruousel using content box.
    But content boxes doesn’t have a link?
    Is there a way to put a link inside the custom content box , with a button.
    And when the button presses the clicked links should fitler.
    Do I have to use vanilla wordpress?
    I appreciate the response.
    If you need a picture I can show it to you guys.
