Filtering variable products

Hi, the plugin looks really great, but checking the demo site (for woocommerce) I’ve noticed that product “Fluro Jacquard Skater Dress” is a variable product, with one variant (size “L”, color Black, wear type 1).
But the product is also appearing in the search result when filtering for example for size “X”. Same behavior is for other filtering criteria (eg. wear type 5).
So it seems that plugin cannot handle filtering via variable product attributes correctly. Or is it only due to some improper setup of the demo site (=can it be corrected please)?

Hi, thank you very much for explanation, it is clear.
But its a pity, which also makes the MDTF plugin attractive only for smaller webshops (ie. who dont use the variations or dont need to filter via them).On the other hand I have to admit that also many other filtering plugins do struggle in the same area, especially when further variations criteria are applied (eg. show only ‘in stock’ variants). The only plugin that is able to handle all these costs 99usd, still stays as the only option. (but will check your plugin every few years, just to see whether it stays like that (as I like your GUI much much more)).
