    Hello,

I seem to have some problems with the filters and custom fields.
On the page linked I left the custom field empty for “Capacity kg” and activated the option to Hide Blank Custom Field.
Nevertheless the custom field is displayed in the sidebar and prevents all filtering from working. As soon as I touch one filter the catalog doesn’t return any product and they all dissapear…
If I delete the custom field created then the catalogue works fine, or if I actually input values in the custom field as well catalogue works fine.
The probleme is i don’t want to have data in the custom field for this product…
Any clue on what is happening here??

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @gdelaforge,

Do you have any products in the catalogue that have a value set for the custom field “Capacity kg”? If not could you assign a product a value and see if it works?

For the slider to function correctly, products must have a value set for it.

    Hi

No, I don’t have any product with a value for that custom field. That is why I am wondering why the custom field appears in the sidebar… shouldn’t it be hidden as no products have values for this custom fields?
If I do have value in this custom field for those products then yes it all works fine.
But the problem is that I don’t want any value in Capacity for these products and this catalog, I created that custom field for another set of products in another catalog…
I thought that if there was no value in a custom field for all products in one catalog, this field shouldn’t appear in this catalog. But here it does and it creates a bug that makes all filtering not working….

Any idea what is going on?

    Hi @gdelaforge,

What happens if you just give the products in that catalogue a value of zero?
Does it still work as it should?

If if does, we might be able to just hide the slider in that catalogue using Custom CSS, as temporary solution.

Yeap, I thought of this solution, add values and used the CSS display:none; and it does the trick.
But as you say it is a temporary fix and I would rather avoid that…

    Hi @gdelaforge,

I will update you once there is a more preferable solution.
