With version 6.3.2, only the custom messages relevant to your opt-in settings will show. If the email isn’t appearing, it’s because your opt-in settings are not set up to send an email. The opt-in settings to send an email are “Update Existing Subscriber: Yes” and “Send Update Email: Yes.”

Hi there.
The welcome email setting is actually a casualty of the MailChimp API v3 upgrade. They no longer support that setting.
Sorry about that! They stopped support for API v2 at the end of 2016.

Sorry I misunderstood your question. Yeah, as Tracy said, MailChimp removed the welcome email option. They only support it for double opt-in (which you can control on mailchimp.com), as you now know.
