Hi @raulillana
Exactly what do you mean fire events once?
Best regards
Hi Ruben.
You can fire automatic events unlimitedly, daily, weekly, etc.
Would be nice to have an option to just fire once (the first time).
Best!

Hi @raulillana
If you are referencing to the steps/points award edit screen then you need to set the field of how many times the event will occur to 1 time
If you are referencing to the GamiPress logs, there is nothing to do, because GamiPress is storing all events that happens in your website at the moment GamiPress get installed (this is intended for a coming tool to award new achievements based on old events)
Hope it helps you
Hi again.
Yes, i’m referencing the points screen, but i guess you didn’t get me right, sorryβ¦
You can configure the times the event is fired, but also the recurrence.
If i want to set up points on a login daily basis, will fire each time a user logins, but i can limit to 1 time each day. So it’s cool.
But, if i want to set up points just the first time the user logins, and never more, my only option is to set recurrence to unlimited (which obviously has no limit) so every time the user logins gets the points.
This is why i feel there’s a ONCE option missing in recurrence, or i’m mistaking the unlimited recurring option.
Hope i’ve been more clear this time. :_)
Best!

Hi @raulillana
You are completely right!
With an achievement is posible to do that (with the maximum earnings parameter) but not with points awards
so I added this feature in our roadmap
I will let this topic opened to let you know when It gets added
Best regards
Hi @raulillana
Check GamiPress 1.2.2
Now includes an option to set maximum earnings (or not maximum) on each points award, so I will mark this as resolved
Best regards
Cool!
Thanks, works pretty nice by the moment. π
