    Hi,

I have CM Tooltip Glossary version 3.5.7 installed. The tooltip doesn’t popup in Firefox (at least not in version 55.0.3). Works fine in IE and Chrome.

Also, for all browsers, clicking on a tooltip keyword goes to a 404 page, even though the page it is trying to find for the tooltip keyword exists in the CM Tooltip Glossary dashboard.

    Thanks,

    David

    Hi,

To solve the 404 problem usually it’s best to go to WordPress Settings -> Permalinks and make sure the permalinks are enabled and “Save changes” (even without making any changes it refreshes the mapping).

As for the Firefox issue, I just checked the exact same version locally and the tooltips appear, so the thing must be local (please check the JS developer console) perhaps there’s a difference between Chrome and FF in parsing the JS.

    Best,

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

The link issue seems to have resolved itself; clicking on the tooltip keyword now goes to the tooltip keyword glossary page instead of a 404 page.

As for the tooltip popup, when I first tried it today, it worked. Then I did a series of browser refreshes and hard refreshes in IE, Firefox and Chrome, and after each tested the tooltip popup. For all browsers tested, sometimes the tooltip worked, other times it did not. Hope you can reproduce this issue, if that is what it is, and resolve it.

Please run this tests again with the console open so you can see JS errors. It is possible that you have occasional JS or loading issues in your site that create this behavior.
