Firewall Compatibility problem with php 7.2

    Hi,
    There is a compatibility problem with wordfence 7.1.18 and PHP 7.2.
    The extended protection can’t be turned on.
    With php 7.1, no problem, it can be turned on.
    I test this case on my 3 sites hosted by OVH.

    Hi @caouic,

    I just ran some tests with PHP 7.2 and it seems to work on my end.

    Can you check the permissions for the document root (the folder containing wp-content)?

    This seems to be an issue with Wordfence unable to write to .htaccess or .user.ini (which will be created in the document root).

    I’m using Wordfence latest version with PHP 7.2 without any problem.
