    Hi, how are you?

Our hosting company (Siteground) got in touch to say that our msql database is just over the limit of 1Gb.

I looked at the table sizes in phpmyadmin and the Firewall logs are quite large.

    wp_spbc_firewall_data_temp is 240mb

    and wp_spbc_firewall_data is 400mb

Firstly, are those Cleantalk logs and secondly is there any way of emptying any of those two logs safely?

Or would not that be recommended?

    Thank you.

    Hello @infragreg

Yes, these are the Security plugin firewall logs.

Please give us 2-3 business days for the investigation.

We’ll get back to you as soon as we have any news.

    Hello @infragreg

To delete the logs, please reinstall the plugin with the “Complete deactivation” option deactivated:

WordPress Admin Page → Settings → Security by CleanTalk → General Settings → enable the “Complete Deactivation” option → Save Changes.

WordPress Admin Page → Plugins → Installed plugins → Security by CleanTalk → Deactivate and then Activate.

Insert your Access key in the plugin settings.

We will also continue our investigation and contact you as soon as we have any results.

    Thank you @amagsumov

If both logs get emptied, does that impact anything in the plug in? Any rules, filters, etc?

    Thanks again.

    Hello.

During a database update, some information is removed from it.

But if the databases are completely empty, it will break the firewall operation including the personal lists.

    Hello @infragreg.

We have divided the storage of IPv4 and IPv6 addresses into different tables, this has reduced their total size. The changes are contained in the current plugin release 2.126.
