Firewall Update

    I received a notification on my WordPress dashboard about updating it or improving the Wordfence Firewall feature. Right now, it is on “learning mode” and I have it set to switch to “Enabled Mode” on the 19th, next Tuesday. My question I have is, is Wordfence still working like it should and protecting my site while it’s currently in it’s “learning mode?” or is it only providing protection when it’s on the enabled mode?

    Hello jwebguy1211,
    Wordfence is still working and protecting your site while the Firewall is in learning mode. Learning mode just means that the Firewall will be responsive and check if some requests should be whitelisted. In learning mode Wordfence takes in to consideration that a human is trying to teach it how to behave. You can check the whitelist and make sure it’s not listing things there that should be blocked.
