• I installed WordFence to get rid of malicious files after a hack, and I deleted AIOWPS to avoid conflicts. But the WordFence Firewall does not want to get optimized. I read the troubleshooting page, I tried automatic optimization and manual, I tried putting in the full path to the wordfence-waf.php file… But I keep getting the message asking me to optimize.

The website is hosted on LWS, with PHP7.3 and FPM/FastCGI.

    Any help is welcome 🙂

  • Sorry for the delayed response. Can you reach out to me at wftest [at] wordfence [dot] com so I can ask for a few details that shouldn’t be posted in a public forum?

    Thanks!

I have reached out to you twice by email since you wrote that (18/08 and 09/09), and have never gotten an answer. The site is currently down (502, so it’ll most probably be back up soon, but it still would be nice to know how to set up the firewall as well as possible).
    Can you help me?
    Thanks

Sorry but I have not seen any emails there with your forum username or this post URL. Can you resend with either of those so I can know which one is yours?

    Tim
