I am not using cache other than what the theme uses as it was always giving me trouble with reverting back to an old cache that was deleted.
Which version of PHP are you using? I would upgrade to at least 7.4 if you’re not already on that. If you are already on 7.4+, I would check with your web host to see if something can be done to improve your performance. I would also suggest removing some plugins if you can.
According to the results from Webpagetest.org below, it took about 2.5 seconds for the browser to download the HTML from your site. That’s the real problem you’re facing.

Hi thanks, I am on 7.4 and the host never gives me any help all they suggest is to go on a dedicated server or pay $80 per hour to get their support.
I have the html minified so not sure why it is taking so long.
@nanny7 That’s your problem. Web hosts should not say things like that, or charge you for support. There’s numerous other web hosts that have great service and have better performance.

Thanks I was trying to search hosts in Australia, in what way do you look for better performance? It gets confusing.
Web hosts can provide services around the world, so there’s no reason to focus on Australia. CDN’s can help provide better region specific performance. One host I recommend is Siteground.
