    Hey, thanks for the awesome plugin! Just what I’d been looking for 🙂
    I just ran a long scan on my site (took 12 hours to be exact…) and came up with a list of 15,000 duplicates.
    JUST TO MAKE SURE as it’s the first time I’m using it… deleting all the images in the list will delete only the duplicates?

    BACK UP FIRST!!! This means the database as well as the wp-content/uploads folder. Keep one of each duplicate, and bear in mind that if you have used a deleted duplicate image inside the Post content anywhere, you will have a broken link. Try deleting just a few at a time.

    Hi there,

    Our new Media Deduper Pro plugin (https://cornershopcreative.com/product/media-deduper/), as well as today’s updated release of Media Deduper 1.4.0 takes care of this issue.

    In both plugins, if you attempt to delete all versions of an image, the plugin will retain the one with the lowest ID, often the oldest version of the image.
