My question is actually regarding the free version of Product Feed Pro. I would like to test the free version before buying and would like to know if this “bug” is cleared or I should look for alternatives.

The bug has not been solved by Woocommerce. They actually do not consider it being a bug so changes of them solving it is slim.
Thanks for getting back to me. I just want to make sure that updating to elite can resolve the errors I get with the free version.
Yes I understand but we really are not allowed to answer any question with regards to our paid Elite version here. In the past we got warned about this by the WordPress admins a couple of times so please reach out to us directly.
