Fixed Sidebar not working with Elementor?

    Hello,

    We’re facing a problem using q2w3 for fixing a sidebar on our with elementor customised website.
    As we deactivated most of the theme. We want to create a fixed sidebar menu within a column of the page builder «elementor».

    Now we’ve already tried:
    If the themes sidebar is activated then it is possible to create a well working fixed sidebar. So it must have something to do with the interference of «elementor».

    The desired sidebar is showing up in the foreseen column, but when activating «fixed» it simply won’t scroll down and is disappearing as soon as you scroll to where it should start scrolling with the page.

    Also I have to say that i am trying to fix this already since two days. Because I thought this might be a «stupid» question with an easy solution. But I have little to no understanding of css and so on. Therefore all the «beginner» css-ing didn’t work at all and now I have to ask for your help.

    Hello!

    Checked your site. Well… Your case is very uncommon!
    Lost about an hour, but failed to find solution.
    The problem not in the plugin.Elementor styles (or markup) are hiding any position fixed elements. Z-index, backface-visibility – not working…
    And I don’t quite undrestand why (

    Hi Max Bond,

    Well thank you a lot for having taken a look at our problem! As unfortunate as it may be, but if you couldn’t find a solution we sure won’t. So we’ll simply have to go without the fixed sidebar then.. :/

    Though, maybe could you define the problem with the elementors styles/markup so that we can forward it to the elementors support?
    This might be of help and of course, if they have a hint we’ll let you know as well.
