Flags disappear at version 3.+

Hiya, We use GTranslate at various website, all built in DIVI, adding flags (only flags) to the secondary menu, always worked fine.

Now as soon as i update any Gtranslate to a version 3.+ my flags disappear and i get a “dropdown with flags”.

The options page shows “widget look” with a lot of options, most of them work, but not “Flags only”.

As soon as i rollback to version 2.9.x its great again.

How can we update and keep the flags only.

Ps. as said, i can repoduce this at any of my DIVI websites using GTranslate.

Hi,

If you use Show in menu option and select Flags it will render a sub-menus for you with the new version. If you want flags side by side you can use [gtranslate] shortcode and place it into the menu manually instead of using Show in menu option.

Go to Appearance -> Menus -> Custom Link then set URL = # and Link Text = [gtranslate] then Add to Menu.

Yes… the shortcode gives me output but… in that case i dont get a dropdown but are the flags stagged above each other, instead of next to each other.

As mentioned earlier you will need to use the shortcode instead of Show in Menu option.

Good. I see you have a CSS which sets display:block for link elements which forces new line to be added.

You can use the following custom CSS code:

a.glink {display:inline-block!important}
