Can you please check references in the code? It seems flash fall back is not working for the whole jPlayer not only WP plugin.

Flash fall back is working in jPlayer 2.9. It’s a problem only in WP plugin. Even examples from here (http://mp3-jplayer.com/playlist-players/) are not working with flash (e.g. IE8).

Does the IE8 you’re trying have flash installed?

I assume it does because jPlayer is working fine there.

are you using the same selection of formats as that jPlayer demo page?

This may affect the results. That demo uses fallbacks, the primary file is M4A, and the fallback is OGG.
