Flash SWF size issue
-
I am trying to embed an swf file that’s 200 x 100 pixels in sidebar.php but the file won’t adjust no matter what I set the file size to – PLEASE HELP…
NOTE:
I have successfully input the swf file into pages and posts without any issue at the CORRECT SIZE…it’s only sidebar.php that’s the issue.I have ALSO tried using several different plugins and each has worked fine on other posts and pages… but again the sidebar.php still doesn’t work properly.
PLEASE HELP> If anyone can tell me what I need to do or an example code that will work to put an swf file into sidebar.php at 200 x 100 pixels that would be great!
Thanks

Unless you provide a link to your site, no one will be able to offer much in the way of specific help.
Oops. Link is http://www.dogsportmagazine.com
What happens if you try to add the video using a Text Widget? From what I can see, there’s plenty of room. Your upper sidebar is 320px wide with no margins or padding.
Great suggestion, but the same thing happens. Could there be something within a css file that’s making it default to a larger size? After all, I tried completely different flash files of different sizes and the same thing happened… they were all automaticlaly resized regardless of what I set them at.
But again, only within the sidebar.php – works fine though on standard html files, posts and comments even work.
I couldn’t see anything obvious in your stylesheet. If you could add a video to the sidebar and leave it for a little while, I can try to take another look and see if I can figure out what is affecting it.
Hi… I added the video using the following code in the sidebard.php
[kml_flashembed movie=”http://www.dogsportmagazine.com/wp-content/themes/lifestyle_40/images/WobblerAd_200x100_DSP_F.swf” width=”1″ height=”1″]
<!– Begin Alternate Content –>
<p>
<img src=”http://www.adobe.com/images/shared/download_buttons/get_flash_player.gif” alt=”Get Adobe Flash player” />
</p><!– End Alternate Content –>
[/kml_flashembed]
The file (video) is at the bottom right side of the screen. As you can see the size is NOT correct.
ANY help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
