Flash video doesn’t work when viewing post

I’m running WordPress 2.6 hosted on dreamhost on my own domain.

I uploaded some .flv files via FTP, configured the WP-FLV plugin, and inserted them into the post. No problems. When viewing the frontpage of the blog (e.g. http://www.mysite.com) the videos show up and play fine.

However, when viewing the individual post – when a viewer clicks on the title and is taken to that exact post (e.g. http://www.mysite.com/07/18/flash-video-post), the videos do not show up and therefore cannot be watched.

They work fine on the frontpage and work fine in gallery2, yet they do not work on the individual page for that particular post. Any hints as to why or how I can troubleshoot this?
