I haven’t had a chance to test this yet, but it sounds very plausible. Thanks for the report, @jnicol.
I may just re-enable the separate flexible field collapse. Currently, it’s disabled to try to reduce confusion between the two methods.
In your case, would it be ok if the plugin auto-expanded all flexible fields when the plugin was first activated?

I think that auto expanding all flexible fields when the plugin is enabled sounds like a very good solution.
Two methods of collapsing / expanding for Flexible layout is confusing. I prefer the native collapser for Flexible Layout.
I only want to use this plugin for repeater, is this possible?

@caintic Thanks for chiming in. Generally speaking, please start your own thread unless when opening a support request.
As far as I know, most people prefer the consistency of having the same collapsing function for both types of fields, so I don’t plan on adding a way to opt out of one or the other unless I hear the request from many other people.

This bug should be fixed in the next version, and at this point, I expect the flex field support will remain.
