Flexible content Id

Hi Eliot

I have a flexible content field with 3 options from a select.

1st option 1 piece of content
2nd option 2 piece of content
3rd option 3 piece of content

These pieces of content are added to css boxes in front page using CCS.

1st option in 1 box
2nd option in 2 boxes
3rd option in 3 boxes

Problem is if I add content to 1st option and then 3rd option content will show up in 1st box from 3rd option.

Is there a way to target pieces on content by Id maybe ?.

or a better solution.
