I can’t publish a link, site is not yet open.

I am using the flipbox widget. I’ve tried everything but cannot get rid of the default vivid purple colour that shows up as the widget loads after page refresh.
I can’t catch it to get the hex# to change it another way either. All backgrounds on the widget are set to colours, none are left to default. How do I get rid of the purple?

  • Hi @heresthecavalry

I believe you can change the color by navigating to:
Edit Flip Box > Style > Flip Box Style > Front Background Color > Click the Paint Brush (or Gradient) Icon > Click the Color Selector

    It looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/YbmWIc1.png

The same can be done for both front and back of the flip box.

    Hello @heresthecavalry,

    Greetings.

Well, Yes, you can easily change the color from this direction: Edit Flip Box > Style > Flip Box Style > Front Background Color > Click the Paint Brush (or Gradient) Icon > Click the Color Selector as @aakash8 provided as well.

However, you can also check this video: https://d.pr/v/gOEpRk

Let me know how it goes.

    Thank you!

Thanks guys. I know how to style the plugin with the settings. I think it’s an issue of a flash of unstyled content (FOUC). Think I’ll have to find the plugin’s CSS file and copy it into my child theme and change the default colour there.

    Hello @heresthecavalry,

Greetings. Really sorry for the delay in reaching you again.

Well, actually we don’t find this type of issue on our end. However, I suggest, You can simply add custom CSS by navigating to your WordPress Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize.

After you are on the Customizer page, search for the “Additional CSS” option. You can then go ahead and insert CSS Code. Please check this screencast to learn more – https://d.pr/v/QrrfTw

And also use the !important tag on your CSS code.

Hope it helps. Let me know the update then.

    Thank you!
