I have long enjoyed using this plug-in alongside flowcrypt for gmail. Several months ago, a change was implemented in flowcrypt that caused it to no longer be able to decrypt emails send from this plug-in. I have had to resort to a different means of decryption.

Flowcrypt is probably the best email integration solution of PGP – wish the two of you could connect to solve the issue. I have spoken at length with flowcrypt and could only determine that the only emails it could not decrypt were from this plug-in.

    Thanks,
    Ron

There’s not enough information in this post to even begin troubleshooting the issue. According to Flowcrypt’s pages, both inline PGP messages and PGP/MIME formatted messages are supported by the Flowcrypt product. They also say their implementation is based on OpenPGP.js.

This plugin produces clearsigned inline PGP messages. This plugin is tested to work with Mailvelope, which is also based on OpenPGP.js. Therefore, given that Mailvelope does work and Flowcrypt does not, and the lack of any technical information in this posting, I’m forced to simply state that there seems to be an issue with Flowcrypt that their engineers need to resolve.

If the Flowcrypt developers find an issue in this plugin, they are of course welcome to submit an issue or a patch to me (the single individual responsible for maintaining the plugin, free of charge).
