Without the addon I get a 2sec load. Awesome. With the addon I get a crazy 13 Sec load according to Gmetrix. Please do not tell me to use Caching. I have a dynamic site site caching is a no go. Please can you sort this out. Even your site is slow and i am on a 100mb line.

Hi @rakiem,
MEC is compatible with cache and optimization plugins and surly you need to use those plugins(if you do not this manually).
However, with your details, we couldn’t get a conclusion about what happened on your website, so please send a live URL from your issue, I’ll check it and let you know the result.

We have some similar issues (not speed, but bandwidth) and we narrowed down to the use of the MEC Fluent Layout addon. I’m curious to see if you have the same symptoms as we do on our site. Maybe it’s the same and it will help @webnus to find what is the problem? Could you check our post and especially the comments I added today?

Hi Patricia,
I am glad to hear that I am not going mad. To be honest I have just removed this. Quite frankly MEC have been really pathetic.
I have contacted them on their messenger app, email and here. Each time they keep pointing me to a cache plugin which is just ridiculous. So by continually pushing me in that direction there is something definitely up with their addon. I have a huge market that I could drive users to their plugin for a specific niche.
The moment I activate the plugin the calendar crawls. So to be honest I would just recommend that you remove the plugin. Don’t let you site suffer and find a another option. I really want purchase the premium addons but I’m left second guessing.
MEC please can you get your act together. I have a site that loads in 2 secs without a any caching. The moment I test the calendar it load in 10sec’s. I have explained that our site is dynamic and we cannot and will not use any caching.

— @rakiem We understand your concern, however your issue that reported without any details in usually resolved with FAQs on MEC: https://webnus.net/dox/modern-events-calendar/category/faq/ but when you report an issue and you sure about it, you need to send more details like a short video from your issue or send screenshots, links and more.. that you can find here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/before-posting-please-read-it-thoroughly-5/ what you should do in reports.
Anyway, now we know what happened and for this reason, this is forwarded to the developer team and it will be fixed for the next updates. also, we will let you know the result.

Do you have any timeline as to when you think you will have the bug sorted out in regards to fluent-view addon. I double checked to get a new download and the changelog is still 1.1.5.

Regarding the issue in this topic,
We worked on MEC and Fluent addon, and we fixed it so we want you to kindly update MEC to its latest version (5.13.1) and Fluent layout addon to it’s latest version (1.2.1 ) and then try again.
